A Dive into the Emotional Influence of Shape
A short conceptual book based around the legacy of Gutenberg's Textura typeface over time; I decided to hinge on the idea of shape language shown through three different renditions of Gutenberg's "Textura" and how the form of the typeface elicits different emotions. I accompanied this idea with inkblots created from these three different typefaces, famously used to understand the thought process of a person through the shape language of the inkblot.

A Wolf, to describe the wild and rigid nature of the original typeface

A Pug, to describe a rather butchered and gritless version of Textura that loses the original concept.

A Husky, to symbolize a perfect blend of old and new.
