I'm Ready When You Are
Jeana Jordan, a licensed clinical social worker based in New Lenox, Illinois, was looking to create a new logo and business card for her therapy practiced based around counseling for teens. As a business owner, it was vital that her logo reflected not only the face of professional practice, but herself as well. Since therapy is based between the relationship between the client and their therapist, it was important to keep in mind her values and perspectives when designing a logo, so it would connect her with the audience that needs her.
It was established from the beginning of the process that she did not want any floral representation, nor did she desire any kind of connotation to being a "fixer" for those who are "broken". Instead, she wanted to create a neutral space for her clients to feel comfortable in confiding their struggles. The solution was to create a balanced visual with flowing tendrils, combining genuine growth and bold confidence while prioritizing soft edges and beige colors to invite the neutral and comforting aura.
