Now More Than Ever
I created the fictional concept and designed the logo, merch launch and website concepts for a trust dedicated to the protection, preservation and education of Vultures across the world. Vultures have a notoriously bad preconceived notion, which can inhibit people from empathizing with their needs.

The choice of the California Condor as the logo was due to it past: in the 80's, the California Condor hit an all time low, with only 22 Condors left in the wild. They were subsequently captured and placed in captive breeding programs and declared officially extinct in the wild. Now, there are 500 Condors in the wild, and they're slowly increasing. Its presence is both a reminder of how delicate the natural world can be while also encouraging the idea that with proper funding and equipment, we can ensure a positive future for these incredible and inspiring animals.

It was decided that the brand would embrace the darker associations that people have for vultures and combine that with modernity and elegance, still keeping the vultures features and attitudes but changing the surrounding context to embrace their role in nature instead of condemn it.
